Card Contacts terms of use

Card Contacts is published by System Sync LLC, a Florida limited liability company. By using the app you agree to what follows. If you do not agree, do not use it.
1. Your account
You need an account, and you are responsible for what happens under it. Keep access to the email address you signed up with, because that address is how you sign in and how you prove the account is yours.
2. What you may use it for
Keeping business contact details you came by legitimately, and sharing your own card. You may not use the app to collect personal data you have no right to hold, to send unsolicited bulk messages, to break the law of the place you are in, or to attack, overload or reverse engineer the service.
3. The data you put in
It stays yours. You give us permission to store and process it only so far as running the app requires, which is set out in the privacy policy. When you save somebody else's card you take on the responsibility for holding their details, and you agree you have a proper reason to keep them.
4. Share links
A share link is designed to be passed to other people and is not protected by a password. Anyone holding it can see the card slice it points at until you revoke it. Publish one only if you are content for it to be public.
5. Card reading
The reader produces a draft for you to check. It gets things wrong, particularly with unusual layouts, so review the fields before you save. We do not warrant that a read is accurate or complete.
6. Availability
The service is provided as it is, without a service level commitment. We may change, suspend or discontinue parts of it. If we ever shut the service down we will give notice at this address and a way to export your data first.
7. Liability
To the extent the law allows, System Sync LLC is not liable for indirect or consequential loss, for lost profits, or for lost or corrupted data. Nothing here limits liability that cannot lawfully be limited.
8. Ending it
You can stop using the app and ask us to delete your account at any time (see support). We may suspend or close an account that breaks these terms or that is being used to harm other people.
9. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Florida, United States, without regard to its conflict of law rules.
10. Changes
If these terms change we update the date at the top of the page and, for a material change, tell you in the app before it takes effect.
